You held me close and whispered into my ear.

you told me that you loved me as you ran your fingers through my auburn hair.

you smiled as you were intoxicated by my perfume.

you promised you would be there forever.

you kissed my pink lips, softly and sweetly.

you swept me off my feet, head over heels.

but it was when you got down on one knee,

that i was awakened.
